Christ Fellowship Church is the result of a vision to plant a new and different kind of fellowship in Tehachapi.
There had been a sort of dissatisfaction with the way many were doing church: legalism and traditionalism were becoming rampant in many fellowships. There was a need for a new expression. There was a growing need for an Acts 2 church.
So after several talks and meetings in both April and May of 2009, on May 17, 2009, Christ Fellowship Church was birthed by the merging of two Small Groups, one led by Ralph McDevitt and the other by TC Robinson.
Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, for his glory (Matt. 28:18-20).
